Rancho Cucamonga Man Arrested After Seen Pointing a Gun at a Female Near Baseline and Archibald

INCIDENT: PC 25850 (a)- Carrying a Loaded Firearm in Public
PC 273.6 (c)(6)- Carrying a Loaded Handgun: Not Owner
LOCATION: Baseline Road/Archibald Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT(S): Rayshaun Perry, Age 45, Resident of Rancho Cucamonga
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at approximately 8:51 p.m., Rancho Cucamonga deputies responded to a call regarding a man with a gun. The reporting party stated they saw a man point a gun at an unknown female and gave deputies a description of the suspect and location information.
Deputies responded and conducted an area check. A subject matching the description was located at a nearby business. Deputies detained the subject, later identified as Rayshaun Perry. While conducting a cursory search of Perry’s belongings, deputies located a firearm in a bag Perry possessed. Perry was arrested and booked into West Valley Detention Center for PC 25850 (a)- Carrying a Loaded Firearm in Public and PC 273.6 (c)(6)- Carrying a Loaded Handgun: Not Owner.
