Suspicious Activity - Locust Drive/Columbia Ave/Manor Ave 02/27/25. Surveillance Footage Requested. 
Today 02/27/2025 at approximately 3:00 PM, Cranford Police received a call about a suspicious male walking through backyards on Locust Drive. A short while later, Cranford Police received a second call about the individual walking through yards on Locust Drive and Manor Avenue. The individual was described as a young male wearing a ski mask and bright blue gloves.
A short while later, the male - later identified as a Juvenile from a surrounding community - was located by Cranford Police in the area of Oak Lane on the border of Kenilworth. He was taken into protective custody and later released to a guardian.
Residents who reside in the above-mentioned area are asked to forward any surveillance or doorbell camera footage that may have captured this individual on today's date to police@cranfordnj.org.
The Cranford Police Department's Investigative Division and Juvenile Bureau are handling this investigation.
