INCIDENT: PC 211 - Robbery
LOCATION: Standing Rock Road & Navajo Road, Apple Valley
VICTIM(S): 20-year-old male of Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): 17-year-old male of Apple Valley
SUMMARY: Deputies with Apple Valley Police Department were dispatched to a report of a robbery on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at approximately 11:31 p.m.
The victim of the robbery reported he had picked up a friend (suspect) at their residence in the town of Apple Valley. Once inside the victim’s vehicle, the 17-year-old male suspect demanded money from the victim and displayed a firearm. Fearing for his safety, the victim gave the suspect his money. Once the suspect had the money, he exited the vehicle and left on foot.
Deputies arrived at the suspect’s home a short time later and the suspect ran from the residence. The suspect was taken into custody a short distance from the residence and was arrested for robbery. He was subsequently booked into High Desert Juvenile Detention Center.
