This is a message from Clay County Emergency Services.  The National Weather Service in Morristown, Tennessee has issued a Red Fag warning for Clay County, Saturday afternoon, March 1, 2025 from 11am until 8pm. Weather forecasters are predicting gusty winds and low relative humidity this afternoon for the Clay County area.  Outdoor burning is not recommended this weekend through the first of next week. A red flag warning means critical fire weather is either occurring or expected to occur through the day.
