* At 322 PM PST, multiple dust channels were moving east from the Anza Borrego area into the Imperial Valley and southern Salton Sea, and are nearly stationary. HAZARD...Less than one mile visibility with strong wind in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE...Public. IMPACT...Hazardous travel.
* This includes the following highways... CA Route 78 between mile markers 5 and 19. CA Route 111 between mile markers 13 and 36. CA Route 86 between mile markers 11 and 55. Locations impacted include... Calipatria, Winona, Alamorio, Brawley, Westmorland, Wiest, Imperial, and Salton City.

Instructions:
Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible. If caught in dense blowing dust, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep your foot off the brake. Motorists should not drive into an area of blowing dust. PULL ASIDE STAY ALIVE!
