The National Weather Service in Morristown, TN has published a forecast for elevated fire danger for Clay County today, Sunday, March 2, and Monday, March 3, 2025. With a very dry air mass in place, relative humidity levels will be very low, putting the Clay County area in a fire danger situation. Any outdoor burning is not recommended today or Monday. Further information will be sent as needed until the fire danger conditions improve.
