* At 400 PM MST, a large area of blowing dust stretched from near Hondo and Elk northeastward toward Tucumcari, Clovis and Portales. HAZARD...Less than three miles visibility with strong winds in excess of 50 mph. Localized areas will have visibility below one mile with wind gusts in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Satellite and local observations. IMPACT...Hazardous travel.
* Locations impacted include... Clovis, Portales, Tucumcari, Fort Sumner, Nara Visa, Quay, Logan, Melrose, San Jon and Elida. This includes the following highways...
