* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Caldwell Parish in north central Louisiana... Grant Parish in north central Louisiana... Southern Jackson Parish in north central Louisiana... La Salle Parish in north central Louisiana... Winn Parish in north central Louisiana... Eastern Natchitoches Parish in northwestern Louisiana...

* Until 1245 PM CST.

* At 1127 AM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 10 miles east of Jonesboro to 19 miles southwest of Colfax, or along a line from 10 miles east of Jonesboro to 26 miles south of Natchitoches, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include... Winnfield, Jonesboro, Columbia, Jena, Colfax, Olla, Clarks, Montgomery, Grayson, Midway, Urania, Natchez, Clarence, Pollock, Dry Prong, Goldonna, Tullos, Dodson, Georgetown and Calvin.

Instructions:

Intense thunderstorm lines can produce brief tornadoes and widespread significant wind damage. Although a tornado is not immediately likely, it is best to move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. These storms may cause serious injury and significant property damage.
