* At 1147 AM CST, a dust storm was located across northern Crockett County along Interstate-10 and US-190. HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with strong wind in excess of 50 mph. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel occurring.

* This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 327 and 379. Locations impacted include... The Intersection Of Us 190 And Highway 163, Ozona, I- 10 Near The Crockett- Pecos County Line, Ft Lancaster, The Intersection Of I- 10 And Highway 405, The Intersection Of I-10 And Highway 290, I- 10 Near The Crockett-Sutton County Line, and Us- 190 Near The Crockett-Sutton County Line.

Dust storms are unhealthy and have been known to lead to Valley Fever. Avoid outdoor exposure. Dust storms lead to dangerous driving conditions with visibility reduced to near zero.
