Activity for March 4, 2025:
- Officer Goings met with officers from the Wayne County Airport Police for a warrant pick-up. A 45-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Elston and Officer Richardson responded to the 200 block of North Bowen Street for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was located in the 300 block of Van Buren Street, and returned to the owner.
- Officer Frazier and Officer Marcum read to students at Hunt Elementary School for National Reading Month.
- Officer Frazier located a suspect from a domestic assault that occurred on March 3rd. The 50-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officer Tripp was dispatched to the 1400 block of East Michigan Avenue for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was entered into the national database as stolen.
- Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 1500 block of Chapin Street. The 30-year-old male suspect left prior to officers’ arrival, and has not been located.
- Officer Farnsworth was dispatched to East Michigan Avenue and Cooper Street for a disorderly subject. A 41-year-old male received a citation for resisting and obstructing.
- Officers responded to the 300 block of Steward Avenue for a disorderly subject. After refusing to leave the area, a 54-year-old female was arrested for trespassing; 2 counts of resisting and obstructing; and 4 counts of assaulting a police officer.
- Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of East Michigan Avenue for a personal welfare check. A 23-year-old female was transported to the hospital.
