The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department wants everyone to be safe during this storm that is expected to hit the LA/Southern California area today.
Here are some reminders before getting on the road:
-Check wipers & headlights and ensure they are working properly.
-Add a little extra time to your commute; drive cautiously and slow down.
-Do not try to cross a flooded roadway.
-Stay alert for flash floods if you live in recent burned areas.
-We ask that you please avoid the mountains! The roads are icy and unsafe.
-Remember, call 911 if you need emergency services.
-Heed all instructions from emergency responders
-Monitor our social media for emergency alert notifications.
