1. Weapon Arrest (1533) Benjamin Holt Drive and Plymouth Road, Lakeview District
Traffic Officers were in the area conductimg traffic enforcement. They stopped a vehicle in the listed area. A loaded firearm was located during a search of the suspect’s vehicle. ARRESTED: A 17-year-old male juvenile for weapon charges.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1644) 200 Block of East Park Street, Civic District
The female victim, 57, was in an argument with the suspect when the suspect hit her with an object. The
victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. ARRESTED: Sonja Barnes, 57,
for assault with a deadly weapon.
3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1744) 900 Block of Willora Road, Lakeview District
Officers responded to the listed location regarding a disturbance where the suspect assaulted the female
victim, 38. The suspect refused officers’ commands, pulled away, and force was used to take him into
custody. ARRESTED: Joseph Buckner, 46, for assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest.
4. Homicide (0145) 600 Block of Dovewood Street, Valley Oak District
Officers responded to reports of a person shot and located a 17-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Detectives responded and assumed the investigation. There is no suspect information.
