...SNOW IS ENDING BUT SOME BLOWING SNOW WILL CONTINUE INTO THE AFTERNOON... .The Blizzard and Winter Storm Warnings have been replaced with a Winter Weather Advisory until 3 PM. The snow is ending, but wind gusts in the 35 to 45 mph range will still lead to areas of blowing snow into the afternoon. Localized whiteout conditions are still possible, but as temperatures warm and cloud cover thins, the snow will be less likely to blow around as time goes on.
* WHAT...Occasional light snow and areas of blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations less than one inch. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of central and east central Minnesota and northwest and west central Wisconsin.
* WHEN...Until 3 PM CST this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
