McCall Receives Drug Charges
Deputy William Guzman with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Christopher Scott McCall, 44, of Old Fort with felony Possession of Methamphetamine and felony Possession of a Controlled Substance on Jail Premises. He was given a secured bond of $30,000.
On February 17, deputies observed McCall riding a bike in town and stopped him for an outstanding warrant. He was placed in custody and transported to the McDowell County Detention Center. While being processed, it was discovered that McCall was in possession of meth, and he received the additional charges for having drugs on jail premises.
