LOCATION: 6600 Block of La Habra Avenue, Yucca Valley, CA
DECEDENTS: Two Adults – One Male/One Female – Next of Kin Notification Pending
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, deputies in the Morongo Basin responded to a call of suspicious circumstances at a home in the 6600 block of La Habra Avenue. The reporting party arrived at the location and smelled a foul odor coming from the house. Deputies arrived and located two deceased people inside the home.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail responded and assumed the investigation. Detectives believe the incident was a murder/suicide. The investigation is ongoing, and an autopsy is scheduled for both decedents to determine a cause of death.
