MERIDIAN POLICE DETECTIVES MAKE ARRESTS IN ONGOING GRAND THEFT INVESTIGATION
MERIDIAN, ID – On March 3, 2025, the Meridian Police Department initiated an investigation based off contact from a local business reference suspicious activity that led to the arrest of two individuals in connection with a stolen semi-trailer. Officers responded to a stolen semi- trailer filled with merchandise in Meridian and, through the course of their investigation, confirmed the presence of stolen property valued at over $130,000.
Two suspects, 27-year-old Steven Otongo and 33-year-old Francisqa Raphino, were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Ada County Jail, where they were booked on charges of Grand Theft.
This remains an active and ongoing investigation, and no further details are available at this time.
