Simi Valley Police Assist LAPD in Armed Robbery Investigation, Arrest Female Passenger on Weapons and Drug Charges 
Simi Valley, CA – In the early hours of March 8, 2025, at approximately 12:01 a.m., Officers of the Simi Valley Police Department received an alert from the Flock Safety system regarding a vehicle linked to an armed robbery in the Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) jurisdiction. The vehicle was spotted in the area of Cochran Street and Madera Road.
Officers quickly located the suspect vehicle as it entered the eastbound 118 Freeway. Additional units responded, and with the assistance of an LAPD Airship, officers conducted a traffic stop near Tapo Canyon Road and Cochran Street.
At the conclusion of the stop, LAPD officers took custody of the driver, identified as Eduardo Duran, a 33-year-old male from Pearblossom, CA, as part of their ongoing armed robbery investigation. Simi Valley officers arrested the female passenger, Teresa Delagarza, a 22-year-old female from North Hollywood, CA, for possession of a handgun and narcotics paraphernalia.
