HS 11370.1(a) – Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed
PC 29800(a)(1) – Felon in Possession of a Firearm
PC 30305(a)(1) – Prohibited Person in Possession of Ammunition
LOCATION: 14500 block of Shirwaun Road, Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Gabriel Ryan Moore, 38-year-old male of Apple Valley
SUMMARY: On Saturday March 8, 2025, at approximately 9:48 a.m., deputies from Apple Valley Police Department conducted a parole compliance check at a residence in the 14500 block of Shirwaun Road in the town of Apple Valley. During the compliance check the suspect, Gabriel Ryan Moore, attempted to evade deputies by hiding on the roof of the residence. This attempt was unsuccessful, resulting in Moore being detained. A search warrant was authored and approved for the residence.
During the service of the search warrant, approximately 40 grams of suspected cocaine was located, along with approximately 8 grams of suspected methamphetamine, narcotics paraphernalia, an unserialized-Glock style handgun (ghost gun,) and ammunition.
Gabriel Ryan Moore was arrested for the above-listed changes and transported to the High Desert Detention Center. Moore was booked and subsequently posted bail.
