March 7, 2025:
- Officer Elston and Officer Richardson responded to the 600 block of Saint Clair Avenue for a larceny report. A firearm was entered into the national database as stolen.
- Officer Goings was dispatched to the 600 block of Loomis Street for a domestic dispute. A 34-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officer Allison responded to a domestic dispute in the 1200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. A 40-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officer Frazier conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of West Mason Street. The 42-year-old male driver was arrested on multiple outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
- Officer Elston and Officer Richardson responded to the 200 block of Griswold Street to follow up on a previous incident. A 52-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officer Marcum was dispatched to the 200 block of Gilbert Street for a domestic dispute. A 29-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officers visited with students at multiple schools during the day.
- Officer Tripp responded to the 400 block of Wildwood Avenue for a disorderly subject. A 30-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop at Griswold Street and Second Street. The 33-year-old male driver was arrested on several outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
- Officer Schram was dispatched to West Franklin Street and South Jackson Street for a personal welfare check. A 49-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
- Officer Allison responded to the 200 block of West Morrell Street for a subject shoplifting. A 37-year-old male was arrested on several outstanding warrants.
- Officer Frazier was dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 600 block of West Franklin Street. A 28-year-old female and a 45-year-old female were both arrested on outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
- Officer Schram responded to an overdose in the 500 block of South Mechanic Street. A 48-year-old female was transported to the hospital.
- Officer Albrecht was dispatched to the 600 block of East Michigan Avenue for a stolen vehicle report. Blackman Township officers located the vehicle unoccupied on Hiawatha Boulevard. PSO Fryt and K9 Dani completed a track, and located the suspect hiding. The 27-year-old male suspect was arrested for unlawfully driving away an automobile.
- Officer Tripp responded to the 200 block of North Thompson Street for a domestic dispute. A 37-year-old male was arrested for violating a personal protection order.
- Sergeant Kruso conducted a traffic stop near West Michigan Avenue and North West Avenue. The 47-year-old male driver was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Drive for a personal welfare check. A 30-year-old male was arrested for resisting and obstructing; disorderly conduct; and leaving a child unattended in a vehicle.
- Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop at West Ganson Street and North West Avenue. The 36-year-old female driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
- Officers responded to the 400 block of Steward Avenue for a personal welfare check. A 30-year-old male was transported to the hospital.
- Officer Marcum and Officer Smith made contact with a subject at Steward Avenue and Trail Street. A 45-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding felony warrants.
- Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of West Wesley Street for a weapons complaint. Officers recovered a firearm that had been reported stolen, and a firearm with an obliterated serial number. Charges will be sought on two 14-year-old males and a 15-year-old male for resisting and obstructing, and carrying concealed weapons.
- Officer Elston and Officer Smith responded to the 600 block of Saint Clair Avenue for a domestic dispute. JCYC refused to lodge a 12-year-old female for domestic assault.
- Officers made contact with suspects from a shots fired incident that occurred in Summit Township at Cooper Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. A 17-year-old male was lodged at JCYC for carrying a concealed weapon. Charges will be sought on an 18-year-old male for possessing narcotics.
- Sergeant Kruso made contact with a subject in the 1600 block of North West Avenue. A 55-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officer Elston met with officers from the Romulus Police Department for a warrant pick-up. A 39-year-old male was lodged at JSO on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
