...BREEZY AND DRY AIRMASS BEHIND A PACIFIC COLD FRONT AND DRY- LINE WILL RESULT IN CRITICAL WEATHER CONDITIONS... .A Pacific cold front and dryline combo will result in critical weather conditions on Wednesday. The frontal boundary combo is forecasted to push across the Val Verde County/Rio Grande, southern Edwards Plateau, and Hill Country areas mid to late Wednesday morning and then into the I-35 Corridor during the afternoon. Strong west to northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph are expected during the afternoon period. Minimum relative humidities range from the single digits to upper teens. These conditions will result in the likelihood of critical fire weather conditions. The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a Fire Weather Watch for low humidity and breeze winds, which is in effect from Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday evening.
