INCIDENT: P.C. 452(D)- Unlawful Setting of a Fire, P.C. 647(F)- Public Intoxication, P.C. 148(A)(1)- Obstructing a Peace Officer
LOCATION: Dos Palmas Road/ Amargosa Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Dainen Walton, 50-year-old Male Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Sunday, March 9, 2025, at approximately 11:10 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department were dispatched to the area of Dos Palmas and Amargosa Road for reports of a male starting a fire in a field. A Good Samaritan put out the fire before it spread.
Deputies arrived and contacted Dainen Walton. Walton was initially uncooperative with the responding deputy. He was quickly detained and subsequently arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for P.C. 452(D)- Unlawful Setting of a Fire, P.C. 647(F)- Public Intoxication, P.C. 148(A)(1)- Obstructing a Peace Officer
