...STRONG WINDS AND A DRY AIRMASS BEHIND A DRYLINE AND PACIFIC FRONT WILL RESULT IN CRITICAL WEATHER CONDITIONS... .A dryline advancing eastward Wednesday morning quickly becomes overtaken by a Pacific front. Critical fire weather conditions develop in the wake of these boundaries. These conditions are expected to first develop across Val Verde County/Rio Grande plains and the Southern Edwards Plateau mid to late Wednesday morning. It then shifts eastward across the Hill Country and to near the I-35 corridor during the afternoon. West to northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph develop with gusts up to 40 mph. Expect minimum relative humidities to range in the upper single digits and teens.
