The Amarillo Police Department is announcing a dedicated enforcement effort to ensure public safety during Spring Break. This Friday and Saturday, the Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers will be actively engaged in DUI enforcement across the city.
In addition to the troopers, members of our motorcycle unit will also be deployed to enhance visibility and responsiveness during this critical time. The primary goal of this initiative is to deter impaired driving and promote a safe environment for all residents and visitors.
We urge everyone to plan accordingly and make responsible choices this spring break.
