Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges.
On March 5, at approximately 11:20 a.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the 1700 block of North Locust Street, when they observed a male subject engaged in drug-related activity. Police made contact with 31-year-old Rashad Walker, who was taken into custody without incident. Walker was found to be in possession of 14 grams of marijuana, and 1.36 grams of crack cocaine.
Walker has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver – Two Counts
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $20,000 cash-only bail.
