INCIDENT: 2025-6296 - Motor Vehicle Accident Involving a Pedestrian
DATE & TIME OCCURRED: 3/11/2025 at 5:57 pm
LOCATION OCCURRED: Clarksville Rd. at North Post Rd.

VEHICLE # 1: 2021 Toyota Corolla 4 Door
DRIVER # 1: 32 year old, female
Resident of West Windsor, NJ
PASSENGER # 1: 10 year old, juvenile
Resident of West Windsor, NJ
PEDESTRIAN: 64 year old, male
Resident of West Windsor, NJ
OTHERS INVOLVED:

DETAILS: On Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 5:57 pm, the WWPD Communications Center detailed the West Windsor Division of Fire & Emergency Services, the Patrol Division and Traffic Unit to a Serious Motor Vehicle Collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Clarksville Rd. and North Post Rd.
The initial investigation revealed the following: Vehicle #1, a 2021 Toyota Corolla, was traveling east on Clarksville Rd. conducting a left turn onto North Post Rd. While turning, Vehicle # 1 struck Pedestrian #1 who was traveling west on Clarksville Rd. in the crosswalk and was attempting to cross the roadway.
Pedestrian #1 was treated by EMS and paramedics on scene and ultimately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center by West Windsor EMS #45 for treatment of non-life threatenting injuries. No other injuries were reported at the scene. The roadway was closed in the area of the collision for approximately 2 hours.
