Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges.
On March 7, at approximately 7:21 p.m., members of the Safe Streets Task Force conducted a vehicle stop in the 400 block of West 4th Street. Police made contact with the driver – 31-year-old Corey Brittingham. Following a brief investigation, Brittingham was taken into custody without incident, and police recovered 7.5 grams of heroin, and 4.87 grams of crack cocaine.
Brittingham has been charged with the following offenses in addition to traffic violations:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $70,000 cash-only bail.
