Press Release: Fairfield Police Investigate Fatal Shooting on Woolner Avenue 
On Wednesday, March 12 at approximately 12:20 am, Fairfield Police officers responded to reports of two injured people at a residence in the 1400 block of Woolner Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers discovered two deceased victims, a man and a woman, inside of the home, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Detectives and crime scene investigators are actively investigating the incident, which remains ongoing. The incident is being investigated as a likely murder-suicide.
The identities of the victims are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
