Elevated and High Fire Danger Warnings Issued for Clay County, Wednesday, March 12, 2025

The National Weather Service in Morristown, Tennessee, and the North Carolina Forest Service have issued Elevated and High Fire Danger Warnings for the Clay County area today, Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Relative humidity levels are forecast to be very low by early afternoon, with gusty winds from 5 to 10 miles per hour and higher wind gusts later this afternoon. Any outdoor burning is not recommended today. Further information on the current elevated fire danger and weather conditions will be sent out as the information becomes available.
