INCIDENT: Fatal Traffic Accident
LOCATION: United States Highway 395 / Luna Road, Victorville
VICTIM(S): Adult Male
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, deputies from the Victorville Police Department along with Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response responded to the area of US Highway 395 and Luna Road for a vehicle verses pedestrian traffic accident.
Upon arrival, it was determined that a grey Honda struck a bicyclist in the roadway. The adult male bicyclist, sustained major injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team was on scene and assumed the investigation. The driver of the grey Honda remained at the scene.
A hard closure was in place on Northbound US Highway 395, between Luna Road and Dos Palmas Road, during the investigation and was reopened right before midnight.
