All lanes of traffic in the area of Elenda Street and Barman Avenue have reopened following a traffic collision investigation.

With a few days of rainfall anticipated, we have a few reminders to help keep you safe on the road:

Give yourself extra time to reach your destinations
Wipers on? Lights on!
Check your tires, windshield wipers, and lights before you go
Buckle up and make sure your passengers do, too
Slow down
Allow extra distance between your vehicle and others
Keep your eyes on the road
Do not attempt to cross flooded areas and never enter moving water. As little as 6 inches of water can knock over and carry away an adult, and 18-24 inches of water can carry away most large SUVs, vans, and trucks. Turn around, don’t drown!
