* TIMING...For the Red Flag Warning, until 9 PM CDT this evening. For the Fire Weather Watch, from Friday morning through Friday evening.
* WINDS...West 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 50 mph for this afternoon. For Friday, west winds 30 to 45 mph, with gusts up to 60 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 9 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
