* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 10 inches, with locally heavier amounts of 10 to 15 inches on west facing slopes. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph.
* WHERE...Northern and Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and Tusas Mountains Including Chama.
* WHEN...From 9 PM Thursday to 6 PM MDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Very strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Power outages may occur during cold weather with blizzard-like conditions. Prepare your home and property for extremely hazardous weather conditions.
