Information sought in connection to two separate shootings that occurred Wednesday night. 
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two separate shooting incidents that occurred on Wednesday night, March 12, 2025.
At about 8:15 p.m. last night, March 12, 2025, the Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a call of a gunshot victim who was dropped off at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Upon officers’ arrival, it was found that a 16-year-old had a non-life threating gunshot wound to the arm. Through the investigation, it was learned that a 17-year-old had dropped the victim off and left the hospital. The 17-year-old was later found safe and uninjured. The circumstances of this case are still under investigation.
Then at about 10:00 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a report of shots fired in the area of Magnolia Park Apartments in Burton. It was reported that multiple shots were fired but it is unknown who the suspects are at this time. No one was found to be injured at the scene.
