The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 11 AM to 9 PM CDT Friday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* AFFECTED AREA...All of West Central Texas.
* TIMING...From 11 AM to 9 PM CDT Friday.
* WINDS...West 30 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 9 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
