INCIDENT: Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed, Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited to Own Ammunition and Felon in Possession of Body Armor
LOCATION: 12900 Claremore Street, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Francisco Yzarraraz, 48-year-old, resident of Victorville
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, March 13, 2025, at approximately 10:50 a.m., investigagtors with the Hesperia Police Department served a search warrant on the12900 block of Claremore Street in Victorville.
During a search of the residence, investigators located a loaded home-made Polymer 80 pistol, several ammunition magazines, miscellaneous ammunition, tactical body armor, and a substantial amount of individually packaged baggies of suspected methamphetamine. Within the residence, investigators also located digital scales with white powder residue and a large amount of stolen mail, credit cards, and identifying information not belonging to the suspect. The suspect, identified as Francisco Yzarraraz, 48-year-old resident of Victorville, was found to be a convicted felon for PC 211-Robbery and is prohibited from possessing ammunition and body armor.
Yzarraraz was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for HS11370.1(a)- Possession of a Controlled Substance While Armed, HS11378-Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, PC29800(a)(1)-Felon in Possession of a Firearm, PC30305(a)(1)-Prohibited to Own Ammunition and PC31360(a)- Felon in Possession of Body Armor.
