A robust round of training thunderstorms will affects central and eastern portions of the Mid-South on Saturday, resulting in flooding rainfall.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. Widespread rainfall totals of 2 to 5 inches, with localized higher amounts.

* WHERE...Portions of North Mississippi, including the following areas, Alcorn, Benton MS, Calhoun, Chickasaw, Itawamba, Lafayette, Lee MS, Monroe, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Tippah, Tishomingo, Union and Yalobusha and West Tennessee, including the following areas, Benton TN, Carroll, Chester, Decatur, Hardeman, Hardin, Henderson, Henry, Madison and McNairy.

* WHEN...From 7 AM Saturday through 1 AM Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
