The male victim, 42, was working at an area business when the suspect entered, brandished a firearm, and struck him. Four additional suspects entered the business, grabbed merchandise, and fled. The victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECTS: Five black male adults.
2. Pursuit Arrest (1942) West Lane and Bianchi Road, Valley Oak District
Officers were in the listed area when they attempted an enforcement stop of a vehicle for traffic violations. The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a pursuit. The driver eventually pulled over and was taken into custody. ARRESTED: James Blue, 45, for pursuit and traffic charges.
3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (0110) 1300 Block of East Washington Street, Park District
The male victim, 34, was inside his residence when the known suspect entered his room, struck him with an object, and threatened him. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury and refused medical treatment. ARRESTED: Audelio Hernandez, 36, for assault with a deadly weapon and terrorist threats.
