...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 9 PM CDT SATURDAY FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 10 AM to 9 PM CDT Saturday.

* AFFECTED AREA...For today, all of West Central Texas. For tomorrow, areas south of Interstate 20.

* TIMING...For the first Red Flag Warning, until 9 PM CDT this evening. For the second Red Flag Warning, from 10 AM to 9 PM CDT Saturday.

* WINDS...For today, west winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. For tomorrow, west to northwest winds 20 to 30 mph, with gusts to 40 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 6 percent today and 15 to 20 percent tomorrow.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
