* Until 130 AM CDT.

* At 1244 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Zeigler, or near Christopher, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near... Benton, West Frankfort, West City, Valier, and Rend Lake Area around 1250 AM CDT. Mcleansboro around 110 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Dahlgren, Orient, Ewing, Belle Rive, Buckner, Macedonia, Hanaford, and Belle Prairie City. This includes Interstate 57 in Illinois between Mile Markers 62 and 80.
