* At 625 AM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across central Cullman county. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected in the next two hours with several more rounds of heavy rainfall later today in Cullman county. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Emergency management reported water over roadways across Cullman county with torrential rainfall ongoing. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Cullman, Hanceville, Good Hope, Dodge City, Baldwin, Vinemont, Phelan, Logan, Bremen, Smith Lake and Crane Hill.
