* WHAT...Periods of heavy snow and whiteout conditions expected. Total snow accumulations 1 to 2 feet, greatest on west facing aspects. Winds gusting as high as 55 to 75 mph through tonight.
* WHERE...Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains and Crazy Mountains.
* WHEN...Until noon MDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Heavy snow and whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and backcountry recreation potentially life-threatening. Expect a significant increase in avalanche danger.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds and threat of whiteout conditions will occur late today through tonight, with diminishing wind by Monday morning. Periods of moderate to heavy snow will continue into Tuesday morning.
* AFFECTED AREAS: ABSAROKA/BEARTOOTH MOUNTAINS ... CRAZY MOUNTAINS
