1. Probation Violation/Resisting Arrest (1532) 1900 Block of North Wilson Way, Park District
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance and attempted to detain the suspect. The suspect resisted arrest and the was taken into custody after a brief struggle. ARRESTED: Jeffery Edwards, 47, for resisting and probation violation
2. Weapon Arrest (0003) Swain Road and Claremont Avenue, Valley Oak District
Officers conducted a proactive traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle for speeding. A search of the vehicle revealed a stolen handgun. ARRESTED: Jordan Romero Gomez, 26, for weapons charges.
3. Weapon Arrest (0025) Fremont Street and Sierra Nevada Street, Park District
Officers responded to a report of two armed subjects. When officers arrived, the suspects discarded a loaded handgun upon seeing the officers. Officers took the suspects into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Santino Lopez, 18, and a Hispanic juvenile, for weapons charges.
