A 3.9 magnitude earthquake centered out of Malibu occurred at approximately 8:17 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2025. This earthquake created minor shaking that could be felt in our area, but there have been no reports of any damage or injuries in Paramount. Please be aware that there is always the possibility for potential aftershocks and we encourage you to take this time to make sure that you are prepared by creating an emergency kit and a family communication plan.
