Red Flag Warning until 10:00PM Tuesday

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 10 PM CDT TUESDAY FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR areas of West Central Texas along and west of an Brownwood to San Angelo to Ozona line... The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 11 AM to 10 PM CDT Tuesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* AFFECTED AREA...the Concho Valley, Big Country, and portions of the Heartland and Edwards Plateau. This is mainly along and west of a Brownwood to San Angelo to Ozona line.

* TIMING...For this afternoon and evening until 10 PM CDT this evening. For Tuesday from 11 AM to 10 PM CDT Tuesday evening.

* WINDS...South 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph today. Southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph on Tuesday.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 8 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* AFFECTED AREAS: FISHER ... NOLAN ... STERLING ... COKE ... RUNNELS ... IRION ... TOM GREEN ... CONCHO ... CROCKETT ... HASKELL ... THROCKMORTON ... JONES ... SHACKELFORD ... TAYLOR ... CALLAHAN ... COLEMAN ... BROWN
