* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations ranging from 1 to 4 inches. Northwest to North winds at 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 70 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Kansas.
* WHEN...From 1 AM to 1 PM CDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Dangerous or impossible travel conditions. This includes the Interstate 70 corridor in Trego and Ellis counties. Strong northerly winds, snow and blowing snow may severely harm or injure livestock. Younger/smaller animals are at greatest risk for hypothermia.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain will transition to snow from west to east between midnight and sunrise Wednesday morning. Conditions will rapidly deteriorate after the transition to snow. Precipitation will end from west to east late Wednesday morning and early Wednesday afternoon.
