Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Shoplifting Suspects
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. requests the public’s help identifying the below-pictured suspects, who shoplifted 17 pairs of Nike footwear totaling $846 on March 12, 2025.
At approximately 4:50 p.m., four females, all described as Hispanic, entered the Nike Factory Store in the 600 block of Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard. Once inside, they put the Nike merchandise in a black tote bag, left without payment, and walked southbound toward Market Street on Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard.
Suspect #1 has black hair, and wore a gray Gap hoodie and black leggings. Suspect #2 has black hair and wore a black sweater, black pants, and a pink Crossbody bag. Suspect #3 has black hair, and wore a gray sweatsuit. Suspect #4, has black and red hair, and wore a dark blue sweatsuit with white stripes.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information about the suspects’ identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
