Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding a death investigation in the City of La Puente.
On March 17th, 2025, at approximately 9:35 PM, deputies from Industry Station responded to an assault and medical response call in the 900 block of Fickewirth Ave in the city of La Puente.
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
At this point of the investigation, it appears the incident is gang related and does not appear to be connected to the incident on the 500 block of Leverette Street in the city of La Puente.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are responding to a shooting death investigation. The incident occurred on Monday, March 17, 2025, at approximately 9:35 PM, on the 900 block of Fickewirth Ave., in the city of La Puente.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
