* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. For the High Wind Warning, winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.

* WHERE...In Kansas, Leavenworth and Wyandotte Counties. In Missouri, Clay, Platte, and Ray Counties.

* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, until 7 AM CDT Wednesday. For the High Wind Warning, from 7 AM to 10 PM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* AFFECTED AREAS: LEAVENWORTH ... WYANDOTTE ... PLATTE ... CLAY ... RAY
