Upon arrival, they determined that an eastbound vehicle struck two adult male pedestrians, ages 22 and 23, who were crossing Main Street mid-block, outside a crosswalk.
Both pedestrians sustained major injuries and were transported to Marian Regional Medical Center. Tragically, the 23-year-old succumbed to his injuries, while the 22-year-old remains in critical condition. Their identities are not being released at this time.
