...Low humidity, above normal temperature, gusty wind and dry fuels will create an enhanced risk for wildfire ignition and spread today... The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM this morning to 10 PM EDT this evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* AFFECTED AREA...Tuscarawas, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Harrison, Jefferson OH, Muskingum, Guernsey, Belmont, Noble and Monroe counties.
* TIMING...Late Wednesday morning into Wednesday evening.
* WINDS...South 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 14 percent.
* TEMPERATURES...Up to 79.
* LIGHTNING...None.
* FUEL MOISTURE...Between 5 and 8 percent.
* IMPACTS...The combination of dry conditions, low humidity, and gusty winds may result in favorable conditions for the rapid spread of fires.
